Here are some comments from some of our puppy owners:
2/7/2012 Doug,
My husband Tim and I got a pup from you a little over 4 years ago. Thanksgiving 2007 to be exact. We came from Wyoming with our chocolate lab if that jogs when you were in Omaha still if that jogs your memory at all. I was reading what other had written and felt like adding if you wanted to or just letting you know how much we love our boy.
My husband has had a love of Rottweilers for over 10 years and I have since we got our boy, Rugger. Shortly after we bought our first house we contacted Doug after several day and hours of internet searching for a good Rotty breeder. We wanted a good representation of the breed to be a good buddy to our 6 month old chocolate lab. We got the best. Rugger is now 4 years old and built just like his dad Mark. He is 135 pounds of solid big loveable oaf. He listens, he loves and he licks. We now have a 3 year old daughter who loves her Rugger bear. He and the lab are like brother and sister and look out for each other as well as our daugther. We love to read our little girl books from the "Good Dog Carl" series and change "Carl" to Rugger for her. I work as a physical therapist and since Rugger loves to play ball so much, he came to work with me one day as reward to one of my young patients who would love for a dog to play fetch with. The two played fetch for almost an hour and Rugger's sweet loveable personality won over everyone there that day. I would recommend Doug to anyone and would go to him again in a heartbeat!
Thanks Doug!

1/18/2012 Doug, Darren, Trenton and myself have been so happy with Maximums he has been such a joy in our lives and he’s getting bigger by the day. My son walks “Maximums” around the house on his shoulders as if he was a baby. Again we like to say thank you.

Doug,
Hi Hope this finds you all well. As you can see Dakota is doing fabulous, weighing in at a large 105 lbs at one year old now. Last year I was so nervous about the quality and temperment of the Rottweiler puppy that we would receive from you, We can honestly say that you sent us the pick of Denero's liter. Dakota is an awesome member of this family, He truly is one of a kind and he completes us. As you can see by the pics he try's to help Landon with his homework. We get many compliments on how beautiful he is .We say that is from good breeding and good food. Thank you,
Lana, Gary, Mack, Landon and Dakota

"I have a pup from Denero, snd could not be happier. His head confirmation, and temperment is remarkable. Can not walk Angus Maximus without someone stopping me to ask about him. You will not find a more knowlegable breeder than Doug."

"We have been owned by Rottweilers for over 30 years and have had everything from AKC to pink-papered import. Our first contact with Doug at von Eisenhart was 11 years ago. The timing was fortuitous in that we were able to pick our male puppy from the entire litter (Jenecks Flash and Olga vom Wachberg). We named our boy Diezel – he was an extraordinary puppy from day one and took ownership of the entire household. He had everything one could wish for in a Rottie – offense, defense, looks and a great disposition. He was truly an ambassador for the breed. When we lost him almost 2 years ago, we did not hesitate to immediately contact Doug for our next generation of puppies. Doug worked diligently to select the right puppies that most lined up with our boy Diezel. We wound up buying a pair, male and female littermates. They are now 16 months old and are absolutely beautiful and fantastic companions. Anyone looking for the highest standard of the breed should definitely include von Eisenhart in their search."

"Just wanted to let you know the two puppies we bought from you, Jackson and Sophie are doing great.
Jackson is now 7 mo old and is going to be in his first AKC show in September.
My trainer has nothing but great things to say about both dogs and you as a breeder. She has been training Schutzhund and show
dogs for over 20 years and came out of retirement just to train Jackson. She has one word for him "Magnificent" from his
bone structure to his temperament to his playful looks and drive, she believes you as a breeder breed outstanding Rottweiler dogs
(and she is not easy to impress).
I have had several people stop and ask me about him and I proudly tell them to contact your web site and I recommend
you to anyone who wants a healthy, beautiful well tempered
Rottweiler dog to add to their family.
Thank you again"

"I have always loved Rottweilers and couldn't believe how hard it is to find a reputable breeder that's not a "puppy mill" or someone claiming to have AKC registered Rotties. There are a lot of "puppy brokers" out there too. Needless to say my search led me to Doug @ Von Eisenhart Kennels. Doug has been great. He knows everything there is to know about Rotties and is eager to share his knowledge. I believe he truly loves the breed. I've purchased 2 puppies from him already and will be going back as the budget will allow. They are healthy, socialized, and full of life. If they only came housebroken!! He's not kidding when he says he'll be there for you with any questions or assistance. In my book he's a 10 and his dogs are wonderful. Thank you Doug. - Cindi Abercrombie"
"Dear Doug,
As you know I had been diligently looking for a female Rottweiler puppy for over a year when I came across your ad in the classified section of the AKC. I had almost given up hope of ever finding that special puppy. There are a lot of crazies out there, which, as I reflect probably dealt with most of them. Anyway decided to give it one more shot and called you. I explained that I wanted a show quality female puppy, and was as novice as they come. You had at present a litter by Falco vom Calibra out of Voneisenharts Tierra and that you had a web site that I could take a look at them. You explained to me that since the litter had just been born, you would have to evaluate the females to see if there was going to be one that would be suitable to what I wanted. That was a refreshing statement and right off felt I had made a connection to a breeder I could put my trust in. The weeks slowly went by. Then got the pictures of 2 females that you thought would be what I was looking for. At that time you were thinking of keeping one and selling the other. Of course my pick was the one you had decided to keep. I sent you a oh no email. However, you were more than gracious and decided to let me have her. Going solely by your word and the few pictures decided she was the one for sure. Then the day finally arrived that we could pick her up. My expectations were surpassed. She is an exceptional puppy. Not only is she beautiful, but smart, friendly, inquisitive, bold, and very loving. She never cried for her littermates, or mom and has slept through the night since we got her. What a testament to your kennel for the right socialization of a puppy. After having her for less than a week, almost got the potty thing down. (Mostly me just not being fast enough.) We have named her Montana Voneisenhart. I know we are less than a week in and who knows what lies in the future (nothing promised) but the prospects look great. We will give it one heck of a try. It was wonderful to meet you and your wife. I will certainly be in touch with pictures and the goings on and to pick your brain on showing.Thank you Doug, for being an honest and exceptional breeder of the Rottweiler."
